While the so-called more reliable press has been preoccupied with the invasion of Iraq, TheRealTruth has learned that the United States government delivered a message to North Korea earlier this month that said that "in the event of a conflict on the Korean peninsula the United States would have no other option than to use nuclear weapons" to defend its 30,000 troops in South Korea. This reportedly because the United States' conventional military forces are heavily engaged in the conflict in Iraq.

According to sources who need to remain anonymous for obvious reasons, a squadron of nuclear armed B1 bombers has been transferred to Guam within striking distance of North Korea. These bombers arrived on Guam two weeks ago and are now in place and have been placed on alert. We are also told that a second squadrons of nuclear armed B1 bombers is en route to Guam and should be in place by the end of the week.

Although this message was primarily aimed at North Korea, TheRealTruth has been told that a similar message was delivered to Communist China. There has been considerable concern in Washington that either China or North Korea might be tempted take advantage of the US war in Iraq to further their own agendas in Asia.
